This is where I disappeared to.

I got tired of chasing algorithms.
So I quit.

THE LIST is where I send the good stuff — new songs, stories from the road, show announcements, an occasional poem, and a letter whenever I’ve actually got something worth saying.

No feed. No algorithm. No daily nonsense.

Just me writing directly to you.

Tomorrow night, the Hill Country POET Society will be holding its regularly scheduled meeting at Altdorf Biergarten.

There will be no minutes taken.
No motions carried.
And absolutely nothing productive accomplished.

Just me and Timmy Neves, a couple guitars, country songs, questionable stories, and three hours of us encouraging each other.

Come early. Stay late.
Lower your expectations accordingly.

Saturday, 9/26 • 6–8 PM

Saturday night, the Hill Country POET Society will be gathering at Bankersmith, Texas.

Population: debatable.

Me and Timmy Neves will be there with a couple guitars, some country songs, several stories that have improved considerably with age, and absolutely no adult supervision.
